2025 Airshow Security Items
March Air Reserve Base is a U.S. Government Federal Installation
Federal laws and California State Laws may apply.
Law Enforcement from all jurisdictions will be present during the airshow.
A state-issued Government ID is required to be in your possession while on base.
A Real Identification (ID) is the preferred form of identification for adults to carry.
Non-Real ID holders (Federal Limits Apply) require a second form of identification.
By entering the installation and airshow secure area, you are consenting to a inspection of your person and your personal belongings.
All patrons will be required to be screened and walk-through metal detectors to enter the Air Show.
Permitted:
Service Dogs
Folding Chairs
Umbrellas (handheld)
Wagons
Strollers
Snacks
Water bottles (plastic, factory sealed, open once inside airshow)
Back Packs (small, unlocked, subject to inspection at any time)
Hydrations Backpacks/Camel Backs (empty upon entering, fill at the airshow)
Smoking (designated areas only, cigars, cigarettes, vapes)
Medications with prescription (tiny cooler/pack accepted on a case-by-case basis)
Not Permitted:
(Surrendered items will not be returned.)
Aerosols
Firearms (regardless of credential or CCW)
Ammunition/ExplosivesMace or pepper spray
Knives (any sort or blade size)
Weapons (brass knuckles, blackjacks/flapjacks, etc.)
Toy Guns
Batons, collapsible batons
Drones/any unmanned systems/Radio Controlled (regardless of FAA Part 107 Pilot Certificate)
Lasers, Laser pointers
Drugs/drug paraphernalia (of any kind, to include all marijuana types)
Marijuana vape concentrate (wax/strips/patches/dabs/vials)
Alcoholic Beverages
Glass bottles, thermal containers, metal cans
Shelters/tents (Easy-ups, pop-ups, quick shelters)
Coolers (of any type/kind)
Radio Equipment (scanners, transmitters)
Bicycles/Roller skates, skateboards, hoverboards, Segways
Recreational motorized mobility devices
Scooters
